Delhi 6 songs (2009)

Delhi-6 is a Hindi film by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra; starring Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor. The movie is reportedly based on Mehra's growing up years in Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi. This is Mehra's third movie after Aks and Rang De Basanti. The movie released on February 20, 2009 to a strong box office collection but faced generally mixed reception from critics.

The music is by A. R. Rahman. To talk about songs, Delhi 6 is near perfect. If one thought that Slumdog Millionaire, Ghajini and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na were superb then just listen to Delhi 6 once. Rahman beats his own score with Delhi 6 which would easily go down as one of his best scores till date.
